What we keep, and what we don’t

This site is the home of ChatBase. It is simple, so this page is too.

The early-access list

If you join the list, we keep your email address, the choice you made about how you would like to use ChatBase (if you made one), and the date and time you joined. We use it only to tell you about ChatBase, for example the day it opens. A copy of each sign-up is emailed to the site owner. We do not sell it or share it.

What we do not keep

We do not save your IP address. To stop automatic sign-ups, the site briefly counts tries per visitor using a one-way fingerprint that cannot be turned back into an address, and forgets it within the hour. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own. Our network provider, Cloudflare, may use technical cookies or measurements to keep the site fast and safe.

Leaving the list

Reply to any email we send you and we will remove your address.
