ChatBase is a place to hang out, make friends and have fun. These rules keep it that way for everyone. By using ChatBase you agree to follow them.
Be kind, keep it clean, keep your personal info private, respect the moderators, and use the report button instead of fighting. You must be 13 or older.
No bullying, harassment, hate, threats or targeting people for who they are. Disagreements happen. Keep them respectful, and walk away or ask a moderator for help if it gets heated.
No sexual content, sexual talk, nudity or flirting that makes others uncomfortable. Do not ask anyone for photos of themselves. This applies to messages, usernames, pictures, backgrounds, songs and everything else you share.
No flooding, repeated messages, begging, scams, fake giveaways, selling, or advertising other chats, servers or websites.
Do not pretend to be a staff member or another person. Do not make extra accounts to get around a ban, mute or other action.
No drugs, weapons, hacking, cheating tools, or anything that encourages harm, including self-harm. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services and tell a trusted adult. You can also message a moderator.
Profile pictures, background pictures, profile music and any files you share must follow these rules. Only share music and images you are allowed to share. Staff may remove anything that breaks the rules.
Moderators are volunteers and the owner is here to keep things safe. Follow their instructions. If you think a decision was wrong, ask politely using the Contact page instead of arguing in a room.
If someone breaks a rule, do not fight about it. Use the report option or tell a moderator, and then let us handle it.
Depending on what happened, staff may warn you, mute you, remove content, kick you from a room, or ban your account or connection. Serious or repeated breaking of the rules, especially anything that puts someone at risk, can lead to a permanent ban.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatBase.
